WHAT IS
TRANSLATION?
(a) the
term "translation" denotes the transposition of a literary or
scientific work, including technical work, from one language into another
language, whether or not the initial work, or the translation, is intended for
publication in book, magazine, periodical, or other form, or for performance in
the theatre, in a film, on radio or television, or in any other media;
(b) the term "translator" denotes translators of
literary or scientific works, including technical works;
(c) the term "users" denotes the persons or legal
entities for which a translation is made.
